Mina Hope Obeten, the visionary founder of E-Lawyer Nigeria, has been nominated for the The Future Awards Africa (TFAA) Prize for Law, a recognition of her trailblazing impact at the nexus of law, technology, and media.

The Future Awards Africa, often described as “the Nobel Prize for young Africans,” is the continent’s most prestigious recognition platform celebrating individuals aged 18 to 31 who are driving innovation, excellence, and transformation across diverse sectors.

Themed “Threads of Legacy,” this year’s edition celebrates young changemakers whose efforts today are weaving the enduring fabric of Africa’s tomorrow. Mina joins an impressive roster of nominees, including Rasheedat Ajibade, Fola David, Akinyemi Oluwaseun Omotayo (Asherkine), Victor Ugo, Poco Lee, and Cameroon’s Dongio Casil (Djec Fashion), all exemplifying the creativity and resilience that define Africa’s next generation of leaders.

As the founder of E-Lawyer Nigeria, Mina has built a pioneering digital media platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of legal professionals, transforming how law is communicated and perceived in the digital age. Through innovative public relations and storytelling solutions, her company has helped lawyers and law firms enhance visibility, shape public narratives, and grow their professional brands.

With a global community of over 260,000 young lawyers, E-Lawyer Nigeria has redefined the intersection of law and media, becoming an influential force in professional branding and legal communications. Over the past five years, the platform has helped numerous legal practitioners and organizations attain measurable growth and influence, with many of its collaborators going on to occupy leadership roles within the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).

Beyond media influence, Mina’s impact extends to career empowerment through initiatives like the Career Fair 2024, hosted at Baze University in partnership with the University of Abuja, and the Briefs & Brunch networking series in Abuja. These programs have directly empowered more than 5,000 young lawyers and law students, providing mentorship, job opportunities, and access to invaluable professional resources.
