BREAKING: Sen Jarigbe Defects To APC

The Senator representing North senatorial District, Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, has dumped the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

His defection followed a meeting g with the Presidency later today in which he was assured of President Bola Tinubu's total support. 

Jarigbe is said to also have called the Cross River State Governor, HE Bassey Otu, informing him of his defection and he has Otu's backing.

This has ended months of speculation of his defection.
