"This traffic booth serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for vigilance on our roads.

"It also serves as a tribute to Lasisi Effangha, who was not just a brother but a socialite who left an indelible mark on our lives" he added.

Handing over the traffic booth, the project manager Builder Samuel Ekanem said the booth though memoriam of Late Lasisi, it also serves as a constant reminder that we have to be safe when we ply our routes.

He explained that the traffic booth comes with an inscription "Under That Helmet" which was an inscription coined by the Late Lasisi which was popular among his peers and fellow bikers.

"With the words "Under That Helmet", he was indirectly warning motorist to be careful while using the roads and be cautious of bikers as under that helmet could be their father, mother, brother or friend.

"The booth also comes with an amber solar light at the top with the words "Slow Down" which should also serves as a reminder for motorist of the incident that occured at that spot and the need to slow down" he explained.
