Tributes, Condolences Pour-in As C'River Env. Comm Buries Brother.

The remains of a front line Medical Practitioner and an International Telephone Communicator, Dr. Sam Edet Enang has been laid to rest in his country home, Anong-Clan (Bahumono) in Abi local government area of Cross River state.
Elder Brother to Cross River Commissioner of Environment, Obol Hon. Moses Osogi, late Dr Sam founded and managed the DBIM Chiropractic Clinic, Houston, Texas USA.
In a condolence message, the Cross River Governor, Prince Bassey Edet Otu, acknowledged the deceased’s steadfast character, generous spirit and committed community efforts which has left an enduring legacy of service, integrity and love in the sands of time.
The message read by the state Commissioner of Education, Sen. Prof. Stephen Odey, states: "We grieve the lose of a strong soul, ye we take solace in the truth that a man who served well lives on through the lives he touched and the communities he strengthened. May God grant you the strength to bear this irreparable loss and may the memories of your brother bring you comfort in this difficult time," Otu pleaded.
In another condolence message from the Cross River College of Commissioners and Members of the state Executive Council, presented by its Secretary, Dr
Erasmus Ekpang, described late Dr. Sam as a great man among his colleagues and family members whose good nature, kind heart and hardwork cannot be overemphasized adding that he was indeed a shining beacon and source of inspiration to many that crosses his part while life.
Commissioner of Environment, Rivers state Hon. Sidney Tambari noted, the demise of a close relation at the age of sixty is a great loss to not only the immediate family but the society, saying,"Your brother's legacy and the values he imparted are reflected in the strength and leadership you embody today."
Cross River Commissioner of Environment, Obol Osogi, observed that his late brother was a man of rare distinction, humble in spirit, towering in intellect and boundless in compassion. He pursued education as a calling to uplift others, yet, remained deeply rooted in humility and service.
_"He was more than a brother, he nurtured and protected. I recalled countless moments when his words steadied me , his quiet strength encouraged me to persist and his example reminded me of the values that truly matter, honesty, loyalty, hardwork and faith.'
"To say goodbye is painful beyond words, but I take solace in the knowledge that Sam lived a meaningful and impactful life," Osogi mourned._
Speaking in a funeral service, held at the Presbyterian Primary School open field Anong, the officiating Minister, Rt. Rev. Dr. John Utum, of PCN Anong described life as a journey that should be undertaken with cushion.
Utum whose sermon was entitled “The Sojourner,” stressed the need for Christians to emulate the exemplary footsteps of Christ in the Bible.
Born in September ten, nineteen sixty-four in Anong-Clan, Bahumono, Abi local government area, late Dr Sam Edet Enang began a career with the Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL) as an international Telephone Operator after his secondary education. He graduated from the prestigious Chiropractic College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, one of America's first class chiropractic institutions with distinction.
The ceremony attracted a cream of dignitaries within and outside the Country.
