ABIA STATE: Ebem Ohafia Holds 2024 New Yam Festival September 28

The entire Ebem Ohafia Community will celebrate her Annual (2024) New Yam Festival (iri ji)/Igba Ekpe/Thanksgiving”, the statement co-signed by Chief Emeka Mba, Elder Idika Kalu Uche and Engr. Ifeanyi Okali, the President General, Secretary General, and the Publicity Secretary of EODU Chief Emeka Mba (Bam Bam) respectively.

Elder Idika Kalu Uche said it will hold on Saturday, Orie, September 28, 2024 at Abum Square, Ekeluogo Ebem Ohafia from 10am.

“This is an ample opportunity for our Community to thank and appreciate the Almighty God for the bountiful harvest using yam as the King of all crops”, EODU declared. 

HRH EZIE Ukoha Kalu Ukoha, JP, The Natural/Paramount Ruler (Ezie Ogo Ebem Ujuruezie, Ohafia) and Kpoke 1 of Ekeluogo Ebem Autonomous Community will be the Royal Father of the Day and the Chief Host.
