Senator Jarigbe Flags Off Construction of Ultra-Modern Town Hall in Obudu

Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, representing Cross River North Senatorial District, has officially flagged off the construction of an ultra-modern town hall in the Betukwel community of Begiading, Obudu Local Government Area.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, the Senator,represented by his Constituency Officer, Mr. Egar Mgbantul—reiterated his unwavering commitment to delivering people-centered projects across the Senatorial District.

According to Mr. Mgbantul, the town hall project aligns with Senator Jarigbe’s vision of ensuring that the dividends of democracy translate into tangible improvements in the lives of constituents.

 “This initiative is designed to foster community development, promote transparency, and enhance civic engagement,” he noted.

He further disclosed that the town hall, upon completion, will be equipped with modern amenities including a solar-powered borehole, energy-efficient street lights, and contemporary toilet facilities, all tailored to meet the community’s infrastructural and social needs.

Responding on behalf of the Betukwel community, Chief Igblishi Adie expressed heartfelt appreciation to Senator Jarigbe for his consistent track record of impactful representation.

He offered prayers for the Senator’s continued good health, divine guidance, and wisdom to fulfill his legislative mandate.
