BREAKING: Former UCTH CMD, Prof. Agan, is dead, says family source

The immediate past Chief Medical Director of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH), Prof. Thomas Agan, is dead, according to family source.

Agan was said to have died at University of Ife Teaching Hospital in Osun state after a brief illnness. 

Family source said he fell ill while in Liberia, where he was doing his Sabbatical, but insisted he be brought back to Nigeria for treatment.

The source said he died this afternoon.
