Governor Otu's Project Execution Efforts Worthy Of Praise - Morphy

The special Adviser to Governor Bassey Otu on projects/Programs monitoring and Evaluation, Rapheal Morphy has commended Governor Bassey Otu for his remarkable strides in good governance delivery especially in the execution of numerous projects within the last one and half years in office, describing it as "proof of his stewardship to the Cross River people and other residents of the State.

The special Adviser gave the commendation at the foundation laying ceremony for the reconstruction of Governor’s Lodge, Ogoja.

Morphy said Governor Bassey Otu, being a lover of development, has been able to make an unprecedented mark in the history of Cross River State.

He mentioned that completed and ongoing projects totaling 181 are being executed in just one and half year of his administration.

The Special Adviser informed that in the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, over 33 projects are ongoing, some completed, some awarded.

He added that over 49 projects had been completed by the State Universal Basic Education Board.

According to him over 79 Rehabilitation projects are been carried out across the State, with most of them completed and some ongoing.

“The administration of Governor Bassey Otu prides itself in the fulfillment of its electoral promises to the people of Cross River State. This is why we are glad that we have an impressive array of legacy projects. So as a Department, we are committed to monitoring and updating the people on the ongoing projects being executed across the State by our Sweet Governor Bassey Otu.

“The projects would go a long way in keeping people abreast on how their resources are being expended, all that is expected of Cross Riverians is support so that the Governor can achieve and deliver more dividends of democracy,” he added.
