Cross River Governor Sets Up Electoral Commission as Agitation for Local Government Elections Hiegthens

By Missang Akpet The Cross River State governor Senator Bassey Otu has approved the constitution of the Cross River State Electoral Commission (CROISEC).

The announcement was contained in a release signed by the chief press secretary to the governor Mr. Nsa Gill.

The 8 man commission has Mr. Ebong Edet Bocco as chairman, Dr. Lawrence Edu Esq as Secretary and Mr. Adoga Joseph Ipuole as member.

Others are Eutendala Eno, Barr. Daniel Edet, Dr. Eyo Otu Eyo and Jerry Adie Akabisong as members.

According to the release, the list is subject to confirmation by the state house of assembly.
