Oliseh: I Left Eagles’ Job Due To Lack Of Support From NFF

Former Super Eagles midfielder, Sunday Oliseh, has disclosed that The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) offered little support during his reign as the senior national team coach.
Oliseh who managed the Super Eagles for seven months, from July 2015 to February 2016, resigned due to ‘the inability of the NFF to honour the terms of his contract’.
The former Ajax Amsterdam star in an interview with Elegbete TV said he was unpaid for four months and his assistants were unpaid for six months while in charge.
“I coached the Super Eagles for fourteen games, won four and lost only two games.
“After being unpaid for four months, and my assistants being unpaid for six months, I was still neglected after falling sick without support from the NFF. I spent thousands of dollars to cure myself. I resigned because I didn’t get support" Oliseh stated.
