The Director of Support Groups for the President Bola Tinubu 2027 Campaign Council, Hon. Silas Ali Agara, has called on the people of Cross River State to sustain the state's cordial relationship with the Federal Government.
He made the call in Calabar on Saturday during the inauguration of the Cross River State APC Campaign Council at the party secretariat.
According to him, maintaining a strong relationship with the centre is crucial for the state to achieve its development goals, including efforts to recover its oil wells.
He explained that the relationship had yielded a lot of benefits for the state in the past 3 years of the Tinubu led administration.
Agara noted that the next four years hold great prospects for Cross River State and expressed confidence that Governor Bassey Otu will further deepen collaboration with the presidency for the benefit of the state if re-elected in the coming elections.
He also commended the economic vision of the Tinubu administration, particularly the one trillion dollar economy agenda and the coastal highway project, saying Cross River is strategically positioned to benefit from such federal initiatives due to the governor's rapport with the President.
