We're Ready To Host Tinubu On Monday - APC Chieftains

Spokespersons of the All Progressives Congress Campaign Council have declared that Cross River State is fully prepared to host President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday.

In a brief chat with THE BEAGLE NEWS, a spokespersons of the APC presidential campaign council Hon. Cletus Obun, said the state and Governor Bassey Otu are ready to give the President a rousing welcome.

He stated that Cross River State has always been dear to the presidents heart hence as a state which had pais the price for Nigeria's unity.

He explained that Cross River State is an epochal state right from pre-independence where the state was the first capital of Nigeria to the civil war where the first gunshot was fired.

He assured that arrangements have been put in place for a successful outing begining with a road walk on Sunday round some major streets in calabar before the main campaign at the UJ Esuene Stadium on Monday.

Also speaking, a spokespersons of the state campaign council Papa D.C. Enameh, stated that President Tinubu will witness a followership that is beyond comparism when he arrives the state, stressing that Cross River is home for him.

He cited the presidential pardon granted to former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, and Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita as instances of the President's goodwill to Cross Riverians, adding that the state has benefitted immensely from his administration and desires continuity.

Enameh called on all Cross Riverians to come out en masse to welcome the President, describing him as a friend of the state who has shown love and kindness to its people.
