Ogoja LG Council Chairman Inaugurates EXCO
The Chairman of Ogoja Local Government Council Hon Christopher Agbeh has charged the newly sworn in Executive Council to live above board in the discharge of their constitutional functions in their respective departments saying that his administration will only be friendly with those who show optimum results in the discharge of duties.
Agbeh said that his administration is determined to reached out to the grassroot adding that he was poised to reposition Ogoja in the league of first class Local Government areas.
The Chairman gave them the matching orders when he swore in the Secretary of Council, Chief Alex Atem the Special Adviser on Peace and Security, Mr. Sylvester Okongor Eroma, the Special Adviser on Legal Affairs, Barr Leonard Egbede, the supervisor for Health, Mr. David Ilom.
Others are the Supervisor for Due Process and Price Intelligence, Mr. Imok Ntaji, the Supervisor for works, Mr. Jacob Ogeh, the supervisor for Agriculture, Hon. Clement Oti, the Supervisor for Environment, Mr. Fidelis Eku Egbede, the Supervisor for Finance, Mr. Fidelis Atambi and the Supervisor for Education, Mr. Mojafu Ekpang Mojafu.
He urged them to avoid waste and unwholesome practice indicating that he shall not condone indolence and those who will perform below average will be dropped.
He advised them to be collective, listen to the people and curry unity in the area.
Responding on behalf of the new Executive Council members, the Secretary of Council, Chief Alex Atem pledged their unalloyed support stating that they will justify the confidence reposed on them.
