Odukpani Council Boss Boosts Gov's Wife Coffee Initiave ... Empowers 3000 Women with Seedlings

Cross River state Governor's Wife Coffee Project has received a boost as the Chairman Odukpani local government Council Rt. Hon. Patrick Asido pledged to provide Coffee seedlings to more than three thousand women interested to go into coffee cultivation in the area.
The Chairman who announced the support while launching the coffee planting project at Adiabo Efut, Odukpani noted that the project is aimed at empowering women and boosting their economic prospects.
He assured that the project will positively impact the lives of the people especially, women in Odukpani,by enhancing their economic prospects and contributing to the local economy.
"This initiative is one of the government agricultural projects designed to alleviate poverty, create jobs, and increase farmers' income", Asido stated.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Mobilization, Grace Egwu, had described the project as a testament to the First Lady's commitment to enriching Odukpani women.
The initiative, spearheaded by Bishopy Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, wife of the Governor, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, will provide coffee seedlings to women in the area.
