NAWIA CRS Honours Founder Ada Charles Foundation With Advocacy Award Of Excellence

The Cross River state chapter of the Nigerian Association of Women in Agriculture, NAWIA has honoured the founder of Ada Charles Foundation and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Relations, Hon. Ada Charles Egwu with an advocacy Award of Excellence.
The Awardee was also honoured as an advocacy Champion, Partner and Collaborator of the NAWIA Women Advocacy Network in the Country.
Receiving the award during a courtesy visit in her office, Hon Ada Egwu thanked the Cross River Women Farmers for acknowledging her little contributions to mankind and dedicated it to God, her political mentors and the Women of Biase who ensured the success of her political endeavours.
She disclosed intention to always encourage agro based women associations in order to promote food security and productivity assuring NAWIA members of her partnership.
" Agriculture is the way to go now, my foundation is ready to partner NAWIA to realise set goals. I appreciate this award of Excellence, it is a great encouragement to me." She emphasized.
Presenting the Award, State Coordinator NAWIA, Mrs Ekaete Okon disclosed, the advocacy Award of Excellence was in recognition of Hon. Ada's commitment, hard work and contributions to the society.
The NAWIA boss congratulated the Awardee on her recent appointment and pledged the association desire to work in synergy with the Ada Charles Foundation.
" We have come as a body to present Award of Excellence, Congratulate you for your recent appointment as well as solicit partnership with Ada Charles Foundation." She disclosed.
NAWIA is a non political body that works with the government of the day to actualize her dreams as well as mobilize women to take advantage of benefits abound in agricultural practices.
