NDDC Installs Solar Powered Lights Around NIS C'River State Command Headquarters
The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has gifted 15 solar lights to the Cross River State Command of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS).
THE BEAGLE NEWS can confirm that the solar lights were installed at strategic positions at the Command premises including the flag house, the barracks and the main entrance.
The installation is a follow up to the visit of the Cross River State NDDC Representative, Rt. Hon. Orok Duke to the Cross River Command of the Nigerian Immigration Service where the NDDC Rep. promised to assist the command with solar powered lighting system around the premises in a bid to beef-up security.
The commands Public Relation Officer (PRO) ASI2 DI Omelagah who confirmed the receipt and successful installation of the solar panels revealed that the project has a direct impact on the command headquarters as the commands premises lighting system has greatly improved.
Photos taken show that the installation of solar lights has significantly reduced the risk of security around the command premises while ensuring a safer environment for both personnel and visitors.
