Ebonyi Federal Lawmaker, Nwobashi, Dumps APGA for APC

Member representing Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency, Mr Joseph Nwobashi has joined All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria.
Nwobashi who won his seat through All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA said he joined APC because he was impressed by the numerous developmental strides by the Governor of the State, Mr Francis Nwifuru who is of APC.
The Lawmaker informed that he joined APC with all his supporters numbering over 8000, along with one House of Assembly member KeleChukwu Okeh representing Ezza North East.
“The Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt Honorable Francis Nwifuru, has been showing love to all of us in the federal House of Representatives, for instance, he gives us equal treatment meaning that he came to work for Ebonyi people irrespective of your political affirmation”.
“Just to mention but a few, recently, he bought a Prado Land cruiser jeep for all the national Assembly members from the State.
He doesn’t discriminate and that was what made me join APC so that we can collectively develop the State”, Nwobashi added.
Another Federal lawmaker, representing Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency, Pastor Eze Nwachukwu Eze of APC was there to witness the decamping of Nwobashi.
Also, the former Executive Council member of Ebonyi State, Mr Nnabuife Abara and his supporters numbering over 5,000 From People’s Democratic Party PDP joined APC
The State Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC in Ebonyi State, Mr Stanley Okoroemegha urged all members both new and old to work with everyone with love and peace as no one has come to block anyone.
The Chairman of Ohaukwu Local Government, Prince Ikechukwu Odonor and his counterpart from Ezza North Local Government Area, Mr Moses Ogodoalinome expressly welcomed them into the party but urged them to abide by the party’s rules and regulations.
