POLITICS:   Atiku Has Done More To PDP Than Any Politician, Says Okeke, Fmr National Pub Sec

THE former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),Tony Okeke, has stated that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, have caused more harm to the PDP than any other individual, living or dead.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television's "Politics Today", Okeke argued that Abubakar's actions have caused the party very dearly and has brought more division than even elections.

Okeke recalled the early days of the PDP when Abubakar's ambitions reportedly led to internal conflict and almost destroyed the party structures.

Atiku's vaulting ambition led to the undermining of President Olusegun Obasanjo's administration shortly after the party came to power.fuelling a lot os suspicions among the leadership.

Okeke stated that these maneuvers set a precedent for disunity within the PDP, which has persisted over the years.

The former spokesperson further criticised Abubakar for leaving the party multiple times, only to return without facing consequences.

 This cycle, according to Okeke, has fostered a culture of indiscipline that has weakened the PDP.l, emphasising that each time Abubakar returned, he regained his privileges, which he believes should have been forfeited.
