C'River PDP Inaugurates Registration, Revalidation Committee, Passes Vote Of Confidence On State Chairman

Cross River state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated registration and revalidation committee across the three senatorial zones in the State.
The various committees made up of 59 members headed by Tim Ekawo for north, Lawrence Takon for central and Ekpo Ada, Esq, for South.
Inaugurating the committee on Thursday at party secretariat along Mary Slessor Avenue, Calabar, the state chairman, Venatius Ikem, Esq, said the
State Working Committee approved the constitution of membership of the committees after due consultation with stakeholders.
Vena said the committees are to oversee the effectiveness of the party's registration/revalidation exercise in the their various senatorial districts.
According to the chairman said the exercise would last for one with effect form the date of inauguration, adding that the party did not do badly in the last general election even as they lost the war but won the battle.
In an acceptance speech on behalf of other members, Ekpo Ada , chairman Southern Committee, commended the party for taking the bold step to repositioning the party.
Ada said the members are committed and willing to serve to ensure that in 2027 PDP will bounce back.
Earlier before the inauguration, the State Working Committee also passed a unanimous vote of confidence in the leadership of the State Chairman, Barrister Venatius Ikem, and enjoined all party members to join hands and work towards the success of the party moving forward.
