C'RIVER: LGSC DENIES IMAGE CAPTURING EXERCISE FOR NEWLY ENGAGED STAFF

The Cross River state Local Government Service Commission (LGSC) has expressed dismay over the fake and erroneous information making the rounds on the purported image capturing exercise for successful applicants who applied for various positions in the commission.
The state Chairman of the Commission who disclosed this in a press statement signed on his behalf by his press secretary, Mark Eneng, and made available to Beagle Newsroom in Calabar emphatically remarked that, neither has it called for any image capturing nor authorised anyone to carry out such exercise on his behalf.
It states" In fact, to set the records straight, the Commission is in the process of posting successful candidates to their various Local Government Councils and places of employment, and this is ongoing. It is only when such exercise is completed that successful employees can be presented for image capturing, which is the last stage of the employment process".
The Commission therefore, warned those who are bent on sabotaging the good image of the present administration, which is built on transparency and rule of law, to desist forthwith.
"The Commission and indeed, the law enforcement agencies, will not hesitate to employ all legal means to ensure that the rumour peddlers are made to face the full weight of the law". The Chairman warned.
