Paramount Ruler of Ikom, Atangba-Nkpa, Celebrates One Year In Office

THE Clan Head of Akparabong 1 and the Paramount Ruler of Ikom LGA, His Royal Majesty MINEN Takon Atangba-Nkpa has celebrated his one year anniversary coronation/installation.
Speaking during the Thanksgiving mass held recently at Catholic Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Parish Akparabong in Ikom Lllocal government area,the Paramount Ruler said God"s has visited the family with abundant grace and blessings during and after he became the paramount ruler of Ikom local government area.
According to him, he family has passed through tribulation and temptations but with God first all were in vain.
The monarch usd the medium to commend the state Governor Bassey Edet Otu, the chairman Cross River Traditional Rulers Council and entire Traditional Rulers Council of Ikom local government Area for the opportunity given to him to serve in that capacity to
serve as the paramount ruler, promising that he will not betray the confidence response in him.
He sued for their co-operation and support and support so as to enable him deliver his vision and mission as well as take the local government to greater height.
Earlier in the sermon the Rev. Father of the Parish called on the christians to always have the spirit of thanksgiving to God whenever they are blessed.
The man of God, who took his sermon from the book of Isaiah, said it is only God who give power, opportunity and commended the Paramount Ruler for coming back to say thanks to God for opportunity given him to serve and charge him to always seek the face of the Lord first while performing his official assignment.
In his remark, the chairman of the occasion senator Victor Ndoma Egba, SAN, represented by the state commission for Power and Renewable Energy, Prince Eka williams, congratulated the Paramount Ruler, HRM Takon Atanga-Nkpa, for his successful celebration of one year in office and enjoined him to continue to sustain peace in Ikom which he described as bedrock of development in the modern society.
He commended the people of Okwa IV Clan 1 for the choice of HRM Taken Atangba-Nkpa as the clan head of Akaprabong 1 and Ikom traditional ruler council for given Atanga-Nkpa opportunity to serve as the paramount ruler or Ikom local government area.
