New Commissioner of Police Afegbua Takes Over Cross River State Command

The Cross River State Police Command has welcomed its new Commissioner of Police, CP Rashid Afegbua, who assumed duty on Monday.

CP Afegbua who takes over from CP Olusegun Omosanyin hails from Okpella in Edo State is a seasoned police officer and the 48th Commissioner of Police to lead the Cross River State command.

Afegbua is not new to Cross River State as he holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Calabar and also did his youth service in Calabar.

He joined the Nigerian police as an ASP Cadet in 1992 and has rose through the ranks.
