The Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS), a global spiritual organization, has called on world leaders and governments to adopt the teachings of its leader, Olumba Olumba Obu, as the remedy to the myriad challenges facing humanity. The organization emphasized that embracing these divine principles would end all forms of discrimination and establish the Fatherhood of God and universal love.
This message was delivered by Dr. Amah Williams, BCS spokesperson, during a press briefing on Monday at the organization's world headquarters on 34 Ambo Street, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. The briefing highlighted activities marking the 2024 Divine Manifestation of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the Sole Spiritual Head and Founder of the BCS.
"Beyond inviting you to the events, we carry the divine mandate to share a message of hope with Nigerians and the world. The solution to the crises facing humanity today lies in the teachings of Leader Obu," Dr. Williams stated.
The celebration, which commenced with the sixth edition of the Leader Olumba Olumba Obu Annual Public Lecture in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, themed "Dignity in Service to Humanity." It will culminate in a series of activities that reflect the spiritual mission of Leader Obu to establish God's kingdom and unite humanity in love.
Dr. Williams explained that December 30 is annually set aside for BCS worshippers to honor the physical manifestation of Leader Obu, whose divine mission is centered on promoting universal love, peace, unity, and righteousness. "The Church is a universal divine institution, also known as Christ’s Universal Spiritual School of Practical Christianity, where humanity learns to live in harmony," he added.
In line with its teachings, the BCS has scheduled humanitarian activities, including observing International Vegetarian Day with the distribution of free food and clothing to the poor and vulnerable. Worshippers will visit orphanages and homes for the destitute to provide support and embody the practical teachings of their spiritual leader.
On December 25, Christmas services will be held at the BCS world headquarters in the morning, followed by global gatherings at all BCS Bethels for prayers, worship, and prison ministrations. These activities are designed to reflect on the suffering and sacrifice of Christ for humanity.
The celebration will also feature the iconic procession of 144 Virgins, a spiritual retreat, and the induction of newly promoted Christ Ambassadors of the new kingdom of God on earth. Other events include the GABA 20th anniversary flag-off, a Biakpan language singing competition, and the rendition of 30 new BCS hymns by the CNCF choir.
The festivities will culminate on December 30 with the BCS Art and Merit Awards by GABA, prayers for global peace, and a crossover night into the new year.
