ACHIEVEMENTS OF HON. YIBALA INYANG, EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF YAKURR LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA IN 100 DAYS
THOUGH 100 days in Office is too short a time to assess an elected officer, but it is pertinent to still x-ray a few notable achievements recorded so far by the Executive Chairman of Yakurr local government area, Hon. YIBALA INYANG within this period.
RENOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF COUNCIL OFFICES
As part of his drive for infrastructural development, Hon. Yibala Inyang embarked on a comprehensive project to renovate and upgrade the council offices, ensuring a conducive and efficient work environment. This initiative included massive renovation, painting, and furnishing of the council offices, thus creating a more professional and welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors alike.
SOLAR-POWERED BOREHOLE RESTORATION
To address the pressing need for clean and sustainable water sources, Hon. Yibala Inyang facilitated the restoration of a solar-powered borehole for reliable supply of clean water to the community by promoting the use of renewable energy, aligning with environmental sustainability goals.
SKILL ACQUISITION AND EMPOWERNMENT
Hon. Yibala Inyang initiated a skill acquisition and empowerment program benefitting over 35 women and youths as part of his human capital development drive.
The program covered a wide array of skills, including fashion designing, solar installation, ICT, barbing, bulk SMS, and logo designs.
Participants were empowered with sewing machines, solar kits, barbing equipment, phones ect. The initiative aimed to foster economic independence and entrepreneurial growth of citizens.
