Igor Tudor appointed Tottenham Hotspur head coach until end of season
Tottenham Hotspur have reached a verbal agreement with Croatian manager Igor Tudor to take charge as interim head coach until June 2026 effectively a short-term deal covering the rest of the 2025-26 campaign, with no automatic permanent clause.
The 47-year-old former Juventus, Marseille and Lazio boss steps in after Spurs sacked Thomas Frank on Wednesday following a 2-1 home defeat to Newcastle that left the club 16th in the Premier League, just five points above the drop zone.
Tudor, who was out of work since leaving Juventus in October, is expected to finalize details and start Monday, ahead of a north London derby against Arsenal on 22 February.
Spurs currently sit 16th after two wins in 17 league games; Tudor’s task is survival first, with any permanent decision deferred until the end of the season
