Easter Bash: Yakurr Council Scribe Empowers Youths, Students, Widow of 2023 Gov'ship Election Victims

In the Spirit of Easter, the Secretary of Yakurr local government area, Hon. Pastor Sampson Ijo Obol has presented three brand new motorcycles to Youths and scholarships to ten undergraduate students worth one hundred thousand naira each studying in various universities in the Country. He also visited and donated cash to Widows in the area.
Making the pronouncement at different occasions, the Philanthropist, Hon. Pst, Sampson Ijo Obol, expressed his desire to champion grassroots empowerment and support for sustainable livelihoods disclosing that the gesture was designed to provide meaningful economic survival through interventions to restore dignity and renewed hope for the people.
He urged the motorcycle beneficiaries to ensure judicious use of the property to earn a living warning them against pressure to sell out the motorcycles. He admonished beneficiaries of the student- Scholarship to study hard so as to earn the next award.
The Council Scribe also visited ten Widows with one hundred thousand naira cash gifts to each to enable them to have a feel of the season including whose spouses lost their lives during the 2023 Governorship election, who received two hundred thousand naira.
Some beneficiaries noted with excitement for the gifts which have gone a long way to affect their lives
They lauded the achievements, exemplary attributes and humane values which have positively affected them.
They used the opportunity to call on leaders at all levels to emulate the exemplary leadership qualities of Hon. Pst. Ijo-Obol by embracing compassion and integrity while in service. This will inspire citizens to recognize and support those who make meaningful positive impacts in society.
