Unical Former VC Akpagu Hints at ADC Move Weeks After PDP Switch

Prof. Zana Akpagu, former Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, has hinted at joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC), just a few months after decamping from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In a post on his official Facebook page, the University Don posted the ADC logo sparking variant reactions from his supporters.

Akpagu's move is reportedly driven by his intention to run for the Obudu, Bekwara, Obanliku federal constituency seat in 2027.

Akpagu recently threw his weight behind Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe in Obudu, suggesting a possible shift in his political allegiance.
