Sen Jarigbe Felicitates Muslims on Eid-ul-Kabir, Doles Out NN5.5m For Celebration

Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, representing Cross River North Senatorial District, has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-ul-Kabir celebration, urging them to uphold the virtues of obedience, sacrifice, love, tolerance, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.

In his goodwill message, Senator Jarigbe described Eid-ul-Kabir as a sacred festival that symbolizes faith, devotion, selflessness, and unwavering trust in God, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice in obedience to Allah’s command.

He called on Muslims to reflect deeply on these noble values and apply them in their daily lives to promote peace, unity, mutual understanding, and sustainable development in Cross River North Senatorial District, Cross River State, and Nigeria as a whole.

The lawmaker further emphasised the importance of religious harmony and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, irrespective of tribe or faith, noting that national progress can only thrive in an atmosphere of unity and collective responsibility.

Senator Jarigbe also encouraged citizens to continue praying for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the country while extending love and support to the less privileged during the festive season.

As part of his support for the Eid-ul-Kabir celebration across Cross River North Senatorial District, Senator Jarigbe donated the sum of N5.5 million to Muslim communities in the area to enable them celebrate the festival with joy and dignity.

He wished Muslims across Nigeria and beyond a peaceful, joyous, and spiritually fulfilling Eid-ul-Kabir celebration.
