BASSEY BASSEY
Senator Adams Oshiomhole, representing Edo North at the red chambers of the National Assembly, has alleged that senators are grumbling about Akpabio's style of leadership and are only trying to manage the situation.
Oshiomhole, a former NLC President and Governor of Edo State, who echoed his sentiments on Mic On Podcast yesterday, alleged that the Senate President was suspicious of his influence within the National Assembly. He further stated that he could not explain reasons for Akpabio bias against him even as they both belong to the same political party, the All Progressive Congress (APC). Oshiomhole reminded his host that he was a founding Governor of the APC and deputy Director-General of the Bola Tinubu Campaign Council, claiming that he worked hard to achieve victory for the party and for president Bola Tinubu.
While reteriating his stance many senators are grumbling about Akpabio's style of leadership, he stated that the next legislative assembly of the red chambers will be better than the present. "The 11th Senate will not be like the 10th, this I can say. It can't be. Senators are grumbling about his style of leadership. But we try to manage." Oshiomhole, echoed.
According to Oshiomhole, if Akpabio have his way, he will show him the exit door of the Senate.
