ADC ANNOUNCES AMAECHI AS ATIKU’S RUNNING MATE AHEAD OF 2027 ELECTION

Former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has emerged the running mate of Atiku Abubakar, former Nigeria’s Vice President and Presidential flagbearer for the 2027 presidential election under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In a statement released by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Bolaji Abdullahi, stated that the decision to pair Amaechi with Atiku, was made after extensive consultations with party stalwarts, stakeholders and coalition partners at home and abroad. According to him, the partnership between the duo of Atiku and Amaechi will translate into the desired electoral victory at the poll. He stated that both men have the national reach and leadership credentials needed to govern the country and to tackle the many woes afflicting the nation. “Few political leaders in Nigeria today, possess such extensive and balanced experience across both the legislative and executive arms of government. This depth of experience will be invaluable in supporting the next ADC administration from day one.” The statement, boasted.

The statement regretted the plight of Nigerians under the present administration and assured Nigerians that the Atiku-Amaechi ticket will deliver the desired results and called on Nigerians including party members, coalition partners, youth organisations and prominent political figures to rally behind and galvanise support for the party ahead of the 2027 election.
