The Chairman of the Cross River State Diaspora Commission, Otu Okor, has been inducted as a Doctoral Fellow of the Institute of Management and Advanced Leadership Excellence.

Okor received the honour during an induction ceremony held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where several professionals were recognised for their achievements in leadership and management.

Reacting to the recognition, the CRIDCOM chairman described the fellowship as both humbling and motivating, noting that it would spur him to greater service.

He expressed appreciation to the institute for the honour and said the recognition reflects the support he has enjoyed from his family, Cross Riverians in the diaspora and the people of Cross River State.

Okor dedicated the honour to the Governor of Cross River State, Bassey Edet Otu, whom he praised for providing purposeful leadership in the state.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to promoting leadership excellence and contributing to development efforts within Cross River State and among its diaspora community.

In his remarks, the Registrar of the institute, Abubakar Sadeeq Yusuf, said the organisation is focused on developing leaders who can respond effectively to the demands of a rapidly evolving world.

He urged the newly inducted fellows to uphold the institute’s core values of character, competence and ethical leadership while serving as ambassadors of excellence in their respective professions.

The ceremony attracted professionals and notable personalities from different sectors, gathered to celebrate achievements in leadership, management and professional development.
