UNICAL VC Inducted Into NANS Hall Of Fame

In recognition of her outstanding contributions to educational development,  Prof. Florence Banku Obi has been inducted into the National Association of Nigerian Students' Integrity Hall of Fame.

Presenting the induction award to Prof. Obi in Abuja, NAN President, Comrade Usman Barambu said: “We are glad that through the dint of hard work and selfless commitment to the cause of one great Nigeria, this honor has come to whom it is due.

"Today, we once again emblazon a foremost icon of national and international repute, a woman who can only be termed the solution to the conundrum called leadership distinction. 

“Our Honouree is one of few Nigerians that fit into this description as a "woman with character, vision, humility, courage, commitment, prudence, competence, charismatic, mentor, and role model, pillar of support, pathfinder and hope for the society, a paradox, a bridge builder, and a compassionate human with success as her attainment.

“Our Honouree's leadership work rate is exceptionally commendable; she has toiled and sacrificed for the good of all who have crossed her path. Prof., your positive impact on the lives of individuals, groups and society and your uncommon transformation on students development has made you a worthy ambassador of peace. 

“We the leadership of NANS are proud of you, it is our prayer that may Almighty Allah reward you with good health, strength and long life to continue with your good work for humanity.
