Political Class Across Party Lines Honour Gilbert Agbor As He Dedicates Son

The family of Barr and Mrs. Gilbert Agbor have Baptised and dedicated their son, Master Asher Agbor Ntui into the Christian faith.
The Baptism which took place at the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ikot Ansa Parish, TTC-Calabar had political stalwarts and bigwits across party lines in attendance.
Conducting the baptism, the presiding minister, Rev Egbai Egbai, said baptism is a holy ritual that symbolises the rebirth and initiation of one into christiandom.
He added that for children like Asher, it is a decision by their parents to hand them over to God and bring them up in the way of the Lord.
In her thanksgiving, the mother of the celebrant, Mrs. Gilbert Agbor returned all glory to God for seeing her through delivery despite all the challenges involved.
She said that she has no other gift to present to God for seeing her through than to rededicate the child back to Him hence the reason for the dedication.
“This pregnancy journey; you may think you’re ready; you may think you know what to expect, but when you get in there you will realise that you know nothing at all.” In his goodwill message, Barr Gilbert Agbor extended heartfelt gratitude to the guests for honoring the child dedication/baptism ceremony.
“We would like to express our gratitude to the church and clergy for their support. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all our friends who graciously attended despite their busy schedules. Special appreciation is extended to our friends in high offices who joined us in celebrating this special occasion.”
The event had in attendance captains of Industries, the political class including the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Anthony Owan Enoh, Chief of Staff to the Governor of Cross River State, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, Former VC of the University of Calabar Prof. Zana Akpagu, Barr Paul Ishabor, DG of the Reclaim Cross River, Hon. Ebam Emanghe, former PDP State Deputy Chairman Central, Rt Hon. Efa Esua, former CESHA representing Calabar Municipal, PDP Chapter Chairmen of Obubra and Abi, Mr. Godwin Igwe and Mr. Victor Bassey respectively, Ntufam Gabe Odu Oji, business men & women as well as military & paramilitary personnels in their glamour.
