Gov Otu Sacks Chief Press Secretary, Nsa Gill,

Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Edet Otu, has sacked the Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nsa Gill, and has appointed Mr. Linus Obogo, in his palace.
Mr. Linus Obogo is now the new Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, while Mr. Nsa Gill will has been redeployed as the Special Adviser on Public Affairs.
The appointments, which take immediate effect, were confirmed in a press release issued today by Professor A. Owan Enoh, the Secretary to the Government of Cross River State.
According to the release, Mr. Obogo's appointment aligns with Governor Otu's commitment to "strengthening its information machinery for effective and responsive communication."
As Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Obogo will be responsible for managing the Governor's public image and ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of government policies and activities.
Similarly, Mr. Nsa Gill, in his new role as Special Adviser on Public Affairs, is expected to "deepen the interface between government and the public, ensuring clarity, engagement, and transparency in policy communication."
