Ita Giwa, Ndoma Egba, Obun, Etta To Be Inaugurated As Governing Council Members July 14

All is now set for the inauguration of Governing Councils of Federal universities, polytechnics, and other tertiary institutions in the country.
The federal government on June 14 appointed a total of 560 persons to serve on the governing councils and boards of tertiary institutions owned by the Federal Government.
The Acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja, Prof. Aisha Maikudi in her acceptance speech on Monday while assuming leadership of the institution revealed that the inauguration is scheduled to hold on July 4, 2024.
Among those appointed were Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University Lokoja; Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, Board Chairman Federal Polytechnic Ugep in Cross River State; Hon. Cletus Obun, board member, Governing Council, Federal University Minna while Goddy Etta serves on the board of the National Open University as member.
