BREAKING: DSS, Police Storm Rivers Assembly As Lawmakers Resume Sitting

Security operatives, including the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigeria Police Force, have taken over the Rivers State House of Assembly Quarters in Port Harcourt as lawmakers prepare to resume sitting. 

A strong detachment of armed security personnel was seen stationed at strategic points around the Assembly Quarters on Monday morning.

Their presence follows an official notice of sitting released earlier in the day by Speaker Martin Amaewhule
