PDP Local Government, National Delegates Congresses In C'River To Hold On August 17

The People's Democratic Party (PDP), has rescheduled its local government congresses from August 10, 2024, to August 17, 2024.
The letter signed by the party's National Organising Secretary, Hon. Umar M. Bature, and addressed to Hon. Venatius Ikem, the State Chairman of the Cross River State Chapter, read in part:
"Please refer to our earlier letter to you with Ref: PDP/DOM/GF.2/VOL.IF/24-069, in which we notified you of the Notice of our Timetable and Schedule of Activities for Year 2024 Congresses for the purpose of Electing the Executives of our Party."
"This is to officially inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, the scheduled LGA Congresses for the purpose of electing our Local Government Executive Committee Members and National Delegates have been rescheduled to now hold in your state on Saturday, AUGUST 17, 2024."
"With this correspondence, kindly begin the process of ensuring smooth and hitch-free exercise with regards to the Congresses."
"While thanking you for your commitment to our Party, kindly acknowledge receipt of this letter."
