BREAKING: Barely a Week After, Another Fire Outbreak Guts Another Public Facility in Ogoja

The Ogoja recreational center facilitated by Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe has been ravaged by fire.
This comes barely 8 days after the Ishibori market in Ogoja metropolis was gutted by fire.
According to sources on ground who spoke with our reporter, the fire was caused by a laborer who was hired to help clear the grasses at the recreational center.
According to our source who preferred anonymity “the laborer after clearing the grass decided to burn the grasses. He lit a match stick and threw on the field and strolled out to buy some food to eat.
“On his return, he met the recreational center in flames, he tried by all possible means to put out the fire alongside neighbors and passers-by but couldn’t.
“Out of the shock, the laborer fainted and is still unconscious as we speak, we have rushed him to the hospital for emergency care.
“The whole facility has been burnt down as we speak, only left with the football pitch” he said.
This is the third Fire incident in Ogoja metropolis in less than 2 months after the high court and main market were also razed by fire.
