Natasha on Project Commissioning Spree, Akpabio Expected for Grand Finale

Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan has embarked on a large scale commissioning of completed constituency projects across the five local government areas of Kogi Central as part of activities marking her second anniversary in office.

The exercise commenced on Thursday with the unveiling of a fifty thousand litre solar powered water reticulation system at Ganaja and the installation of solar powered smart streetlights in Adogo both in Ajaokuta Local Government Area.

On Friday the second day of the celebration the Senator commissioned a twenty thousand litre capacity borehole in Okene Local Government Area as well as another fifty thousand litre solar powered water reticulation project in Okaito Okehi Local Government Area and Adavi Local Government Area.

The project tour continued with the commissioning of smart streetlights in several communities including Obangede and Eika in Okehi and Kuroko community. Other benefiting locations are Ajaokuta Village Nagazi Oro Layout Ebogogo Adogo Ebiya Ogaminana Geregu Elete Ajaokuta Township Iruvusechi and Eika Ohizenyi among others.

With these latest deliveries a total of forty solar powered water projects have now been executed in various communities across the senatorial district in the last two years.

As part of the anniversary activities Senator Akpoti Uduaghan is also expected to commission additional projects including smart markets a primary healthcare centre schools and other constituency developments.

In addition to infrastructure the Senator will launch an empowerment scheme to support constituents with electric vehicles and other tools aimed at boosting economic activities and improving livelihoods.

The anniversary celebration is expected to reach its climax tomorrow Sunday November 2 when the Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio will visit Kogi Central to commission landmark projects as the high point of the event.
