It’s hurt to see Olise play for France, say former super Eagle Captain Sunday Oliseh
By Akpo Esco
Former Super Eagles captain Sunday Oliseh expresses anger seeing Michael Olise playing for France as against playing for Nigeria:
"When I see the way Olise plays, I love it. But it gets me angry that I am saying Olise should not be wearing the French national team jersey; he should be wearing the green-white-green jersey of Nigeria,” Dailypost quoted Oliseh.
“He is so good and might one day contend for the Ballon d’Or. Defenders are feeling helpless against him, and now they foul him, insult him to provoke him, and he is a quiet person.”
Michael Olise was born in London to a Nigerian father and a French-Algerian mother.
Technically, he's eligible to represent Nigeria, England, France, and Algeria, but he opted for France.
The boy is not only good, he's also very humble like the person of Ademola Lookman
