How Florence Obi Is Clearing Inherited Mess

The tendency by some alleged media handlers of Prof. Zana Akpagu who villainously attempt to compare the inimitable Prof. Florence Banku Obi with the former is eternally fortuitous. It is actually a thing of shame to desire to call out Prof. Obi as a face-saving measure for Prof. Akpagu. Being unable to provide facts and figures, the media boys resort to unnecessary name-calling and appealing to nonsensical emotions.
It is really unfortunate and regrettable to find anyone in his or her right senses to make the claim that the consideration by the VC of UNICAL to find a solution to the challenge of over-admission is as a result of the backlash the delectable VC has faced. From the onset, the VC has constantly been empathizing with the affected students, and has been assuring and re-assuring them of the steps the administration is taking to ameliorate their condition. The media handlers of Prof. Zana Akpagu are fixated about their failure, and the irrefutable and incredible achievements of Prof. Florence Banku Obi, the first female and 11th VC of UNICAL.
Let it be stated for the umpteenth time that Prof. Obi cannot be compared with her predecessor. Talking about compassionate leadership, Prof. Obi has demonstrated unimaginable compassion towards Prof. Akpagu, and exceptional administrative magnanimity towards him. The number of invitations that anti-graft agencies have extended to the university because of the atrocious involvements of the immediate past administration are inexplicable. The current VC inherited a lot of bullshit, has resolved a great percentage of the issues, without calling out her predecessor. It is curious why she should be rewarded in the manner that his predecessors’ handlers are going.
The University of Calabar was blacklisted by TETFund for monumental irregularities such as misapplication and misappropriation of its funds, students could not proceed for NYSC for lack of accreditation of programmes, etc. If Prof. Akpagu’s handlers would wish to measure the quantum of love that the incumbent VC has for her predecessor, they may wish to pick a copy of the White Paper of the Presidential Visitation Panel that investigated the running of the institution between 2015-2020. See the reckage.
For the unsuspecting and innocent public, enveryone should be rest assured that the challenge faced by dentistry students will be resolved amicably. The administration has kept taking very proactive steps in the direction of resolving the challenge.
