C'River APC, SSSGLC Close Ties For 2027 Election Success

Cross River state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Right Hon. Sunny Ettah has said, the state Party Executive is working out a structure which will incorporate the four hundred and twenty -two support groups in the state towards ensuring the re-election of the ruling party come 2027 general elections.

 Etta, who was speaking during an interactive session with South-South Support Groups Leadership Caucus, in Calabar expressed the readiness of the state Exco to work in tandem to deliver on their mandate.

 He emphasized the importance of the role of support groups to any political organisation pointing out that the number of political groups in the state demonstrates a mark of endorsement for the ruling APC party in the south-south region of the Country. 

 "In Cross River, we are putting in place structures that will ensure seamless, all embracing rancour free political activities, I appeal to cross Riverians and Nigerians to be patient with us, we were misunderstood in many quarters, I thank God we are building confidence and APC is accepted by most Nigerians." APC Boss stated 

 Earlier, the National Chairman of the APC Support Groups Leadership Caucus, Elder Comrade Iso Bassey Edim, said the main ideology of the group was to engage in mass mobilisation of the electorates to support and vote for the APC, inform the people about the achievements recorded by the ruling party as well as educate the public on the need to protect government property.

 Edim further noted, "we have come today, to 

 familiarise with our new State Party Leadership and work out strategies for the re-election of Our dear Governor, Senatu Prince Bassey Otu and President Bola Tinubu come next year,"

He then presented portraits to the state Chairman, Right Hon. Sunny Etta, Deputy Chairman, Bar. Ugana Lukpata and Secretary of the Party, Pst. Patrick Asikpo Okon.
