2027: Sandy Onor Blasts Otu's Govt, Unveils Archibong-Eba Governorship Ticket
By Missang AKPET
PDP residential aspirant for the 2027 elections and former senator representing Cross River Central Professor Sandy Onor has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State and State Governor Bassey Otu of running a wicked and pretentious administration.
Onor who made the remarks while addressing PDP faithful and supporters in Calabar criticized the APC’s leadership in the state, saying it operates a poor reward system predicated on wickedness.
“You cannot be saying you know God, but all of what you do is predicated on wickedness. Power belongs to no man but God,” Onor said.
The former senator said he was in Calabar as proof that no individual can permanently suppress another.
“I am here as a testament of the fact that no one man can punish you, no one man can put you down. God is a God of vengeance, He is watching all these pretensions. Those who want to retard us, God has a place for them, Power is transient. I am here to announce to you that we will manifest God,” he declared.
Onor expressed confidence that the Peoples Democratic Party would reclaim power in Cross River State in 2027. He announced that Sir Arthur Jarvis Archibong would run for governor under the PDP, with ousted APC state party chairman Barr. Alphonsus Eba as his running mate.
“PDP is coming back with Arthur Jarvis as Governor and Barr. Alphonsus Eba, a man who will be his deputy governor, a man who was cast down by those God has given power to now because he is loyal to the predecessor who put them in power. Wickedness cannot be greater than that. We will preach love, show love and spread love,” Onor stated.
