2027: Eso Joins Central Senatorial Race in PDP, Promises Quality Representation

THE race for central senatorial district has continued to gather steam as Mr. Solomon Eso, has declared interest to run for senate seat in the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

Eso, who is the only aspirant that has picked forms so far in PDP, joined the party in 2021. Between then and today, he was the chairman of AMAC caucus of PDP, member of AMAC chairmanship screening committee on the party and has contributed financially to the party, which was acknowledged by past leaders in the state.

Eso, while picking the nomination form for the senate race, said:"I have been a active member of PDP and since I joined I remained steadfast and been a loyal party member. I believe in the party and want to serve my people.

"If I am given the opportunity, I promise to give quality representation and embark on people-oriented programmes. We will also look at women empowerment and healthcare infrastructure."

Eso is from Abi local government area of Cross River State and hopes to challenge the incumbent in 2027 NASS election.
