UNICROSS STUDENTS INVADE GENERAL HOSPITAL CALABAR
Students of the University of Cross River have invaded the General Hospital Calabar, shouting solidarity songs, vandalising properties and harassing staff on duty.
In a video circulated online, some students were seen vandalising the sign post by the fence of the hospital while others were seen marching angrily into the administrative unit and harassing staff on duty.
A staff of the hospital who does not want to be named called our reporter and said that staff including doctors and nurses on sighting a crowd of students, took to their heels, abandoning patients they were attending to, including those on admission in the hospital.
Meanwhile, in another video sighted on Facebook, some of the students were seen advancing towards the Governor’s office.
