UNICAL: PICTORIALS FROM PROF. PETER CHUKWUEMEKA OKAFOR 150th INAUGURAL LECTURE

ON Monday, November 17, 2025 Prof. Peter Chukwuemeka Okafor of the University of Calabar delivered the 150th inaugural lecture at Godswill Akpabio International Conference Centre.

 Okafor is a Professor of Physical Materials Chemistry, Dept of Pure and Industrial Chemistry.

The Lecture titled, "Taming The Silent Destroyer: Harnessing Sustainability To Combat Corrosion." had in attendance the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Florence Obi, who doubled as the chairman of the lecture as well as the chief host, Principal officers of the Institution, former VC Prof. Epoke, Prof Emeritus, Prof Chris Nwamuo, Prof. Eyong, Provost, Graduate College, DAP, Prof. Omoogun, Directors, Dean's, other scholars and other members of the academic community, family members, Friends and Students.
