UNICAL HOLDS NOVEMBER SOLEMN ASSEMBLY AND THANKSGIVING

The Solemn Assembly marks the beginning of 2025/2026 Academic Session and to Welcome the New students into the institution.

It's also the last Solemn Assembly by Prof. Obi-led adminstration. 

Dignitaries at the event include the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Florence Obi, Deputy Vice Chancellors of Academics and Administration, Profs Tony Enyang and Grace Eno Ita, DVC Research and Linkages, Prof. Peter Okafor, the Registrar, Dr Mrs Chukwuma Icha, Dean Provost College, Prof. Ubana Eyong, other Principal Staff, Dean's, Directors, Professors, HODs, staff and students.

The Assembly was led by the Guest Preacher, Rev Fr. Bob Etta, SSA to Gov. Bassey Otu, Moderator. Other men of God include Rev. Fr.Emmauneln Orok Duke (Ph.D); Rev. Lawrence Ekwok (Ph.D); Rev. Joseph Ushie, Ph.D; Pastor Prof. Kyrain Ojong, and Rev. Fr. Prof. Godfrey Ukpabio.
