Senator Jarigbe Facilitates Second Phase of Aliforkpa Road Project in Cross River
The Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, has facilitated the construction of the Echumoga–Akreha section of the Aliforkpa Road in Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State.
The project marks the commencement of the second phase of the road construction. The first phase, earlier facilitated and completed by the senator, covers the stretch from Okuku to Echumoga. The ongoing phase will extend from Echumoga through Akreha to Aliforkpa in Yache.
Speaking at the flag off ceremony on behalf of the senator, the Constituency Officer, Mr. Egar Mgbantul, said the project reflects Senator Jarigbe’s commitment to improving access across communities in the senatorial district. He noted that the road is aimed at connecting farmers to markets, workers to jobs, students to schools and residents to healthcare facilities.
Mgbantul explained that the project is expected to stimulate economic growth by encouraging investment and enhancing social and commercial activities in the area. He added that the initiative aligns with the senator’s broader agenda on infrastructural development in Cross River North.
Residents and community leaders have commended Senator Jarigbe for consistently attracting key development projects to the district. They offered prayers for his continued protection and success in his efforts to advance the welfare of his constituents.
