SECURITY: Boki Council Security Team Apprehends Over 12 Illegal Fulani Migrants in Bunyia Okubuchi Ward

A group of illegal Fulani migrants numbering about 12 has been apprehended by the Boki local security team.
The team headed by the Council Chairman's S A on Local Security, Mr Eban Stanley,intercepted migrants around the Ndemechang-Irruan axis of Bunyia/Okubuchi ward.enroute to Wula in search of employment.
The arrest is part of ongoing security measures put in place to curb security lapses towards safeguarding the lives and property of communities within Boki Local Government Area,
During interrogation, one of the alleged Fulani migrants confessed, saying "we are going to Wula in
search of jobs."
When contacted, the head of the security team Mr. Stanley, confirmed the incident, explaining that the operation followed a tip-off, prompting his team to act swiftly.
"The Fulani men were moving at nocturnal hours through unfamiliar terrain, raising suspicion about their motives and mission in the area.
"We apprehended and immediately transported them to Ogoja, and subsequently returned them to their point of origin via a truck at Ndok Junction."
Mr. Stanley urged residents and indigenes of Boki living in the area to remain security-conscious at all times and report any suspicious movement of stranger elements to the appropriate authorities for swift action.
He emphasised that the administration of Hon. Eti-Eka Mrs. Beatrice Etta Nyiam will not tolerate any incursion into Boki land.
