Otu Appoints Uklala Special Adviser on Budget

‎Cross River State Governor, Bassey Otu, has appointed Dr Peter Ashishie Uklala as Special Adviser on Budget.

‎

‎A statement on Tuesday by the Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Linus Obogo, said the appointment takes immediate effect.

‎

‎According to the statement, Uklala is expected to bring his professional experience to bear on the state’s budget planning and implementation, with responsibilities including expenditure monitoring, fiscal discipline and performance evaluation.

‎

‎The appointment is also expected to strengthen the government’s efforts to ensure that public funds are properly managed and that budgetary allocations translate into tangible benefits for the people.
